The May Family Ranch is an affordable location to host your next large Idaho family reunion or retreat. Whether you have 60 or 200 in your group, our facilities are equipped to provide you with all the necessities to bring people together. It can be expensive to find a place to host groups of any size, and our business model allows the affordability and access to create memories on a budget. 

 

The ranch has been around for over 25 years, and has quickly become a uniquely loved location because of the ability to gather while enjoying all that the property and local outdoor attractions have to offer. There is no need to leave the property if guests simply want to stay put and relax. We provide fun activities and amenities that are included with your stay, making it one-stop shopping for lodging and entertainment. If you want to get adventurous, there are unlimited opportunities to have fun and enjoy a variety of activities for any age and any interests, all within a close proximity. 

 

Whether you have a youth group of 40, or a family of 150, the May Family Ranch can provide you with all the functional facilities, lodging, and amenities you will need to host a successful gathering.

 

We are located in one of the premier recreational and hunting/fishing areas in Idaho. The Ranch is surrounded by the Sawtooth Mountains, which have numerous hiking, biking, and ATV trails. Popular with visitors are the local natural hot springs, the Salmon River, old mining towns, Challis’ 9-hole golf course, museums, and the unmatched beauty of our surroundings. While we have amazing outdoor opportunities surrounding the ranch, you don't even have to leave the property to have a grand ole time. Between the 200' waterslide, basketball, volleyball, yard games, horseshoe pits and more, your family will have plenty of entertainment to enjoy the property and family company.

During the summer, the Salmon River is alive with rafts and kayaks. The river, as well as surrounding lakes and streams, offer great trout, salmon, and steelhead fishing. Less than a mile from the property is our stocked fishing pond that is a hit with guests of all ages! Nearby Redfish Lake is the local venue for motorized watercraft and recreational water equipment of all types. There are several hot pools in the river to enjoy when the water level is right.

The Ranch is open year-round. Guests have access to all amenities including the 200' waterslide and sports area at no additional cost. Families will reserve their own kitchens, pavilions, fire pits, lodging for themselves so they won't share that with other families.
